Owner of Bigger Than Books Academy formerly known as I Write Writing Academy, LaNette is a Christian author, Writing Coach, Certified Grief Coach and Social Media Strategist.
Bigger Than Books Academy is a company that helps writers, aspiring authors and creatives write and share their stories in the form of a book. LaNette is also a Marine wife, mother and grandmother who loves to write, cook and meet new people.
LaNette earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas Wesleyan University and an Associate of Arts Degree from Tarrant County College. During her years in college, she was selected to be a part of the Sigma Kappa Delta English Honor Society and Alpha Kappa Delta Sociology Society. Because of her passion to help self-published authors excel in their book businesses, LaNette has successfully completed a 14-week Business Bootcamp in Colorado as well as received a Certificate from Cornell University in Women's Entrepreneurship recently.
Clients who successful finished and used LaNette’s services and strategies has been in several news outlets around the world and their stories told on Tedx stages.
In 2019, she wrote and self-published four books and one of her books was noted as a top-seller on Amazon in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada. LaNette is originally from Texas, but currently lives and enjoys the mountains and hiking trails of Colorado. .
